ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT TREK (round the Annapurna)

The trek around the Annapurna is one of the most beautiful, breathtaking and scenic treks in Nepal and scales about 300 km in total.The trek reaches an altitude of 5,420m on the Throng La pass, touching the edge of the fabled Tibetan plateau. The magnificent mountain scenery, seen at close quarters include the magnificent ice pyramid Dhaulagiri 8167m,Annapurna I 8091m, Manaslu 8163m, Annapurna II 7937m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna south 7219m, Nilgiri 7041m, Machhapauchhare 6998m, Hiunchuli 6441m, Lamjung Himal 6986m, Tukuche peak 6920m, Tilicho peak 7134m.The eastern portion of the trek follows the Marsyangdi River upstream, to its source near the village of Manang.The trek also goes through Buddhist villages and Hindu holy sites, most notably the village of Muktinath, a holy site for both Buddhists and Hindus, and Braga, one of the oldest monasteries in the region.We will get to see people from various cultures here as this trek follows ancient paths used as trade routes between Nepal and Tibet. These paths have long facilitated the flow of cultures and religions in this remote and formerly inaccessible region.

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu.
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel and welcome dinner in the evening with typical Nepalese food.
Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing.
After breakfast at hotel start Kathmandu and Patan cities sightseeing with city tour guide. And rest of the day is free for trekking packing and preparing. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 : Kathmandu to Beshishahar (823m) - 6 to 7 hours.
Day 04 : Trek - Beshishahar to Bahundanda (1305) - 5 to 6 hours.
Day 05 : Trek - Bahundanda to Chamje (1410 m) - 5 to 6 hours.
Day 06 : Trek - Chamje to Dharapani (1960 m) - 5.5 to 6 hours.
Day 07 : Trek - Dharapani to Chame (1960 m) - 4.5 to 5 hours.
Day 08 :  Trek - Chame to Pisang (3100 m) - 5 to 6 hours.
Day 09 : Trek - Pisang to Manang (3440 m) - 4 to 5 hours.
Day 10 : Trek - Manang - (Acclimatization Day)
A day for restat Manang. Excursion around Manang is wonderful.  We Climb high above the village for a full panorama of the Annapurna range and the Manang Valley to feel Mountains’ proximity.  A visit of Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA) – An Aid post in the village, makes an interesting and educational excursion. To top it all, we visit Ganagapurna Glacier Lake to make this rest day a special and memorable one. 
Day 11 : Trek - Manang to Yak Kharka (4350 m) - 3 to 4 hours.
Day 12 : Trek - Yak Kharka to Throng Phedi (4420m) - 3 to 4 hours.
This is the day for rest and climbing preparation. This day we teach to climbers that how to use equipments properly and as require technique to climbing Island peak.
Day 13 :  Trek - Throng Phedi – Throng La (5420 m) to Muktinath (3850 m) –7 to 8 hours. 
After an early breakfast, start trek steeply upward till we cross THRONG LA (5416m). This is the main course of this trek. The view is gorgeous, from the snow-covered mountains above to the head of the KALI GANDAKI VALLEY below and the brown and purple hills of Mustang, which are spread all around. The descent to Muktinath is knee pounding (1600m) but it's compensated for with an excellent view of Dhaulagiri. Overnight stay at MUKTINATH in the trekkers lodge/camp. 
Day 14 : Muktinath to Jomsom (2750 m) –3 to 4 hours. 
After breakfast, drive to Jomsom by Jeep about 3 hours. Overnight stay at guesthouse.
Day 15 : Jomsom to Pokhara
After breakfast, check into Jomsom Airport to fly to Pokhara. Check in to the hotel at Pokhara. After Lunch start Pokhara city sightseeing involving Bindyabasani temple, Seti Gorge, Regional Museum, International mountain museum, Devi’s fall, Gupteshwar caves.  Overnight stay at hotel. 
Day 16 : Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast at Pokhara transfer to Tourist bus stand and departure to Kathmandu or any other destination as per program. Check into the hotel at Kathmandu.
Day 17 : Departure
After breakfast, transfer to international airport as per schedule or proceed for further program.

Therefore, Akka Adventures and ABC Adventures (P) Ltd shall not be responsible for any changes in the itineraries due to unavoidable circumstance and natural disasters such as landslide, road blockage, flood, snowing, cancellation of flight and delay, any types of sickness including altitude sickness. Any extra cost including there shall be borne by trekkers themselves.

Full trekking and travel insurance coverage for medicine, rescue evacuation, loss of belongs, and trip cancellation is strongly recommended.

Woolen gloves, Balaclava, Sun hat, Thermal wear, Water bottle, Woolen socks, Towel, Light Jacket, Down-Jacket, Sunglasses, Sun and cold cream, Torch with extra batteries / bulbs, Raincoat, Paper Soap, Sweater, Shirt / T-shirt, Trekking shoes, trekking stick, flip- flop, persons medicines and bandages ETC - as required.
